A Message from the Director
Parents and students,
Congratulations to Yvonne Aguirre, Collegiate Academy Para of the Year and Riley Cavanagh, Collegiate Academy Teacher of the Year!
Thank you Yvonne for always going above and beyond to serve the students, families and staff at CA! We appreciate all you do!
Riley Cavanagh is a founding member of the CA faculty. He began his career here teaching US History and for the last four years has been teaching AP Human Geography. In his spare time he leads CA Student Ambassadors and coaches our CA basketball team. He gives so much of his time to mentor/guide/encourage students to not give up and keep focused on the goal of academic success. Thank you Mr. Cavanagh for your tireless service to everyone at Collegiate Academy!
PhoenixON!

Scholarships for College-Bound, High School Seniors
A great source of scholarship money for families looking for college funds may be their own employer(s). Many companies offer scholarships for their employees or their children, but it may not be common knowledge. It pays, literally and figuratively, for parents to take the time and ask their human resources liaison if such scholarships exist. This is especially true if you work for a larger corporation or a more established company.
Once the graduating senior has been accepted at a particular college, they need to meet with a financial aid officer at the school to find out what scholarship resources the school may have to offer for a shortfall in college money. Often, schools can cover some of the remaining cost or recommend the student for a scholarship.
