LAST CALL FOR TALENT SHOW SIGN-UPS

This year, the talent show will be performed as a school-wide assembly for the whole school to enjoy! The action takes place Friday, May 20th at 12:45. Parents are welcome to attend. We are hoping to record the event for those that want to watch but are unable to attend. Practices begin Friday, May 6th after school (until about 4:30 give or take). We can't wait to watch you shine! Last day to sign-up is this Friday, April 29th!

This author visit will feature their brand-new hilarious book "The First Cat in Space Ate Pizza". Children's Day/Book Day

Children's Day/Book Day

Celebrate the power and joy of reading with Sonoma County Library! Children's Day/Book Day is a celebration of children, families, and reading that culminates yearly on April 30. We invite you to enjoy this tradition by reading, of course, and by joining us for the below events!


Kick off the celebration with our April Take & Make Craft Kit, which has everything you need to make a book piñata! Available at all 14 library branch locations, kits are available on a first come, first served basis from April 15 to April 30, while supplies last. Limit one per patron. For ages 5 and up with adult supervision.

Water fountains will be turned back on very soon, but until then, please remember to send your student with a water bottle. We have a limited supply of cups for them to use during the school day and we appreciate students bringing their own containers to drink from.

If you are a school volunteer who has received a booster shot since sharing your proof of vaccination card with the front office, please stop by ASAP to give us an updated copy of your vaccination card.


If you have only received two doses of a COVID vaccination or no COVID vaccination, the district requires a district-administered Rapid Antigen Test the day before you volunteer in the classroom. You can register for this rapid test below.

Though it can be difficult to recall times before COVID-19 came into our lives, it is important to remember our school policy around student illness prior to covid.


Please do not send your student to school if they are ill, COVID or not.

COVID Testing Update!

COVID Testing Update!

Great news! The district is now offering professionally administered Rapid Antigen Tests to families if their students are experiencing COVID symptoms. Results are ready in 15 minutes and students will be able to get back into class much quicker than before. This test requires additional registration. Please complete the registration process BEFORE you go to the district office to be tested.

However, this does not mean students should be attending school when they are ill. Please take care in keeping your students home if they are exhibiting cold/flu-like symptoms of any nature or have a fever. This is to protect your student and other students and staff at school.

LumaCon Live! 2022

Celebrate creativity and literacy for all at LumaCon, our FREE annual comic convention for youth and families, brought to you by the public and school librarians of Sonoma County!

Get your tickets and join us at the Petaluma Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 30, from 10am to 4pm, where you can peruse local art in the Artists' Alley, try LARPing (Live Action Role Play), enjoy crafting for kids, check out the Sonoma County Library BiblioBus, draw your own comics, and more.

Pop culture enthusiasts of all ages are encouraged to wear cosplay (costumes) for maximum fun, and kids and teens are invited to participate in a cosplay competition!

Due to COVID-19 regulations, LumaCon 2022 is a limited ticketed event this year. Entry is still free, but tickets will be required for each member of your party, including babies.
