THE LION'S ROAR!
August 11, 2023
FROM OUR PRIDE LEADER
Hello Norris Lions!
This week, we have a task for parents to complete!
Millard Public Schools continually seeks to have engaged stakeholders in order to meet our district mission. Strategy 1.2 of our District Site Plan calls for a survey to determine engagement of all stakeholders (students, families, staff, and community). We ask that you take ten minutes to provide your input on the survey linked below. Your answers will be anonymous. The survey window will remain open through November 17th.
Thank you in advance for your participation and input!

This includes drinks such as Gatorade, pop, chocolate milk, etc., as well as any chips, candy, or other snacks. If a student has an outside food or drink item with their school lunch, they will be asked to return the item to their backpack.
Students are always welcome to bring a cold lunch to school, with items provided of their family's choosing.
As always, no nut products of any kind are permitted in the lunchroom at Norris.
Thank you!
Birthdays at Norris!
In order for your child to bring birthday invitations to school to give out before, during or after school, for a party at home or elsewhere, all children in the class would need to be invited so that feelings are not hurt. Otherwise, please make arrangements to distribute invitations from home. Our Buzz Book will be helpful with this, which is shared through the PTO website.
Student birthdays are recognized during morning announcements, and celebrated in the classroom without food products. Balloons or flowers are not to be sent to school for your child’s birthday, etc. due to student’s allergies in addition to distractions caused in the learning environment.
