Learning opportunity to prepare for next school year!
Ivy Tech Community College is proud to rollout a new learning and remediation platform called LevelUp. The LevelUp Program offers students in 8th through 12th grades an engaging and accessible way to improve their Mathematics and English skills to prepare for success in high school courses and, ultimately, their college-level coursework.
LevelUp students, beginning as early as the 8th grade, can work virtually in Mathematics starting with Pre-Algebra. Students may also review Reading and Language Arts skills that will provide them a great start at excelling in high school and college courses.
The LevelUp Program could help to:
Remediate knowledge gaps that may exist as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.
Offer a free, accessible platform for students who wish to prepare for high school courses in Mathematics, Reading, and Language Arts aligned with Indiana’s Academic Standards.
Offer a tool for SAT preparation through the SAT Prep Modules.
Provide preparation that assists students with successful placement into dual credit courses.
LevelUp uses the EdReady/NROC technology platform that offers engaging, interactive content. Students who complete the program will earn a “Certificate of Completion” that indicates their work on a pathway to college readiness. Additionally, students completing LevelUp work will be better prepared for their high school coursework and be ready to take Ivy Tech’s Knowledge Assessment, which qualifies them for placement into dual credit courses.
Attached you will find a Student Information sheet that will assist students and their parents in getting started, as well as an FAQ document. Please feel free to reach out to LevelUp@ivytech.edu if you have any questions.
