All About Judaism

Jews worship in a synagogue. They follow in prayer with the Rabbi or the teacher and read from their holy book the TeNaKh. Sacraments include Shabbat (the Jewish Sabbath) and eating only Kosher foods (no meat made with dairy). They also celebrate Bar mitzvahs and Bat mitzvahs in which children turn 13 and become part of the congregation. They believe Jerusalem is the sacred city of prophets. They mainly celebrate Yom Kippor (the day they say sorry) and Rush Hashanah (the Jewish new year). Christians and Muslims, like Jews' sacred writings all include biblical figures such as Adam, Noah, and Moses. Muslims, Christians and Jews all believe in monotheism and they all believe in the common figure Abraham.
