School Improvement Update

Our SIP team met on Friday, September 25th to analyze and interpret current school improvement goals using MAP, 2015 NeSA, and last year's Benchmark Assessments. As a result of analyzing all of this data, our team is proposing that we set grade specific goals in the area of Reading and Math.

In addition to reviewing data and proposing grade level goals, our SIP team reviewed our current "Purpose and Direction" statement. We are seeking additional feedback regarding our current statement, and then determine if we need to make adjustments/revisions.

"Before Staff Meeting Task" -

Review the Grade Level School Improvement Goals for Reading and Math. We (SIP team) are proposing the following: Here

"At Staff Meeting Task" -

1. As a grade level, determine if you are in agreement with the Reading and Math goal for your grade level. If you disagree with your specific grade level goal, please include your feedback in your grade level area using the link above.

2. Review our current "Purpose and Direction" statement below. Determine if there are any adjustments/revisions that need to be made (statement or wording).

Consider: Is this statement easy to remember? Is this statement student-friendly?
