CURRENT GHS NEEDS
By Parent and Guardian Request
Many parents and guardians have requested that we communicate any unique needs. So, we began with a request for student snacks to keep our pantry stocked, and OUR COMMUNITY DELIVERED!!! We are now fully stocked and the deliveries continue! Here are a few more current GHS needs.
Office Partitions Needed for NEW GHS MAIN OFFICE!
This summer, we plan to move the GHS main office to room 212 in order to better serve our growing community. We are unable to erect drywall to create offices due to expensive sprinkler system requirements. We are now on the hunt for several gently used office partitions! If you have a connection and are able to assist us with this need, please reach out to email@example.com.
White Chairs Needed for Graduation
If you have a connection with a local rental company, we are in need of 125 white chairs for our graduation ceremony on May 31st at 6pm at the Botanic Garden Pavilion. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are able to assist with this need.
Broken Cabinet in Main Office
If you are a Mr. or Ms. Fix-It, we need a handy person to help us repair a broken cabinet door in the main office. We were able to repair the hinge on the door, but need to reconnect the door to the cabinet. Please contact email@example.com if you can assist us with this small need.
Gas Cards for Teacher Commutes
As most of us know, Traverse City is amidst an affordable housing crisis. In addition, public school teaching salaries do not meet the current economic demands placed on today's families. This means that several of our teachers are commuting longer distances to teach each day at GHS. If you are able to donate a gas card of any amount, we would be grateful for this assistance. Please turn gas cards in to the main office or email Erica with information about gas card deals in the area!
