Restroom Care and Usage
Students,
DO NOT
Just hang out in there. It's not a club. Urine and fecal matter are floating in the air.
Destroy or vandalize doors, walls, or toilets- these are not our property.
Consume illegal substances. This is a serious violation of the law and school policy.
Take selfies of you and your friends in our restroom. Your phone should be off and put away.
Wrestle or slap each other. This is unsafe.
Plug in curling irons or straighteners. This could start a fire if you forget your hair tool.
Text your friends from inside the bathroom stall. Your phone should remain off, clean, and sanitary.
Go into a stall with a friend. This is not allowed due to the potential for sexual harassment.
DO
Use the restroom stalls to relieve a basic human need.
Wash your hands.
Fix your look.
Ask for a refill on sanitary supplies you may need.
Take a moment to collect yourself in private.
Dry your hands.
Throw away your hand towel.
Leave the restroom when you are done.
Tell us if something is clogged or water is on the floor.
For the remaining days of the school year, the outer female restroom door will remain open during extended social times. 8:00-8:45am and 11:55-12:35pm.
If the male stall door is tampered with again, we will not be replacing the door to the stall. You will be provided with a curtain. NMC is tired of repairing damaged hinges. If you know who has done this past damage, please tell someone in the main office.

Need a Summer Job? SEEDS is hiring.

Glen Eagle is Hiring Servers!
Glen Eagle Details Below
We operate 7 days a week and typically need 2 servers per meal: 7:30am-9:30am, 11:30am-2:00pm, and 4:30-7:30pm. Minors will need work permits and parents signatures, of course. This is a great first job because it’s not a typical “restaurant”, but runs somewhat similar, although it’s the same residents for meals for the most part, and there are only a few options per meal to remember (although they can carry the daily-printed menu around with them to tables). Additionally, shift would involve preparing juices/drinks on carts, taking that around, then taking table orders of usually a seated group of 4, putting in to kitchen, take next order, take in to kitchen and pick up order on a tray at same time, etc. Then, after meal service, clearing of dishes, wipe down table, and reset for next meal.
We find that the senior population enjoys the high-school age individuals as the servers, and first-time workers are in a less-stressful environment. Wage is around $13.00/hour, with performance raises. Experienced workers could review that with the General Manager. Additionally, for those looking for full-time summer work, or graduating and looking for same, we are looking for Housekeepers as well. This is light housekeeping in resident rooms (launder linens, entryways, dusting, vacuum, etc.). The housekeepers additionally act as servers at breakfast during the week.
To apply, go to Indeed.com and search “Glen Eagle”. If you do not find the listing (as we have an integrated system that does not always catch up), candidates may call us and set it up that way. We will do text, but an initial phone call is best, if not done through Indeed. We ultimately do need the Indeed application, but have an in-office laptop that can be used. Onboarding for I-9, direct deposit etc., is all done via email, but again, we can assist in-office if need be.
