CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK!

Sunday: Catholic Schools In Our Parish


  • Mass at 12:30. Student Choir and Lectors
  • Open House Afterward
  • All students who attend in mass uniform earn free dress day on Friday.


Monday: Catholic Schools In Our Community


  • Service Day!
  • Student Council will present on the Maverick Recycling Program.
  • Students may wear spirit top with jeans and sneakers.


Tuesday: Catholic Schools In Our Students


  • Free Dress!
  • Drop What You're Doing & Dance: Music Will Randomly Come On The PA And Dance Parties Will Ensue
  • Movie In The Hall In The Afternoon (8th grade will be selling popcorn)


Wednesday: Catholic Schools In Our Nation


  • Mass Uniform
  • Students will write letters and cards to legislators advocating for school choice


Thursday: Catholic Schools In Our Vocations


  • Regular Dress
  • Alumni Dr. Joe Ferro and Dr. Paul Saenz will address the students.
  • Men and women religious will share their journeys to and in their vocations with the students.


Friday: Catholic Schools In Our Staff


  • Academic Bowl
  • Free Dress for those who attended 12:30 Mass on Sunday, 1/31. Mavericks are encouraged to go ALL RED, even to the point of being a bit silly.
  • Lunch provided for staff
  • * **Western Wear and Cowboy Breakfast moved to Tuesday, 2/9 (Mardi Gras)

PTC MEETING THIS WEDNESDAY!

Awards will be handed out and other important information will be shared. This is a great opportunity to earn service hours. All students whose parents attend earn a free dress day for the next day, Thursday.

MAVERICK ATHLETICS

Playoffs Here We Come, Championship Or Bust!

Congrats to our B Teams for strong seasons. Having seen them at the beginning of the season and the end of the season, there's no doubt that they improved greatly.


Our A Teams both made the playoffs!


The Ladies take on St. John Berchman at Monday at 4:30 and the Gents square off against St. James that same day at 6:30.


The games will be at St. Pius.
