Queen of Apostles School
Term 1 Week 5 - Thursday 2 March 2023

Leadership Mass
On Tuesday we celebrated a wonderful Leadership Mass where our Year 6 students were recognised in front of the community for the roles they will undertake this year. I am really looking forward to working with all the Year 6’s as they play a very important part in the running of the school.
I would like to thank Ms Maloney for her work in organising the Mass and assisting the students on their leadership journey. I would also like to thank the parents for supporting the class during this very important time.

COVID
There are a few cases of COVID in the community at the moment. Please look out for any signs and symptoms and, as with any sickness, keep the students home until they are well.
The COVID portal no longer exists so If your child does test positive to COVID please let us know when you report their absence. We also ask that you keep them home until they are well to minimise the spread and keep our school safe and open.
Interschool Swimming Carnival
Good luck to all our swimmers competing in the Interschool Swimming carnival next Thursday 9 March at the Fremantle Leisure Centre. I know that you will give a great account of yourselves in the competition.
Parents please aware that the interschool swimmers will leave from school at 8.20am on this day. Thanks to Mr B for his work in organising the team for this event.
