Social Emotional Learning
Middle School of Plainville
A note from the MSP Social Emotional Support Team
It is hard to believe it is already almost Spring. Although we are used to hearing students say "I don't want to go to school!", that was genuinely not the case. These past few months have been different not only for students but for parents and families as well. Students of all ages have gone through and will continue to go through these next few weeks differently.
As a MSP Social Emotional Support Team (which consists of MSP School Counselors, MSP School Psychologists, MSP School Nurse, Plainville Youth Services, and Administration) we have prepared resources and activities for your use at home throughout remote learning and over the summer recess.
As we continue to adjust to this new "normal" your student's school counselors, psychologists, nurses, and administrators are here to support them along the way. We will utilize this newsletter to communicate different ideas, resources, and activities to best support your students and families through this.
