IMPORTANT INFO
Face-to-face and remote learning will resume on Monday, January 4th.
We have an early release on Wednesday, January 27th. Dismissal will be at 11:30am and bagged lunches will be sent home. A workshop day will also take place on Friday, January 15th so there will be NO school for students. This was an addition to our district calendar. The newly revised district calendar can be found at our district website...www.rsu29.org.
There will be NO school on Monday, January 18th due to Martin Luther King Day.
If you are a parent of a remote learner, please make sure that you email your child's teacher(s) if you have any questions. Our teachers are delivering instruction to our face to face learners during the day, but will certainly get back to you during their remote learning office hours which is approximately from 1:45-2:35pm.
Our next school board meeting will take place on Monday, January 11th at the Houlton Middle/High School Auditorium at 6:00pm.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM UPDATE
We are still accepting new students for our After School Program! Our program is set up virtually versus our traditional face-to-face learning. We offer tutoring and enrichment activities. If you are interested and have a device that your child can utilize at home, please contact Mr. Hiscoe.
COLD WEATHER AND SAFETY
As we anticipate colder temperatures when we return from our holiday break, please make sure your child is coming to school prepared to be warm outside at their lunch recess each day. They will not be going outside if temperatures including the wind chill is below zero. Recommended outside gear includes a hat, mittens/gloves, boots, winter jacket, and ski pants if you want your child to wear them while playing in the snow.
STUDENT COUNCIL CORNER
Many thanks and gratitude for your generous donations to the Ark Animal Sanctuary for our Adopt-A-Kitty Tree campaign. Our next meeting will be January 21st.
