IMPORTANT--- MASTER SCHEDULE SHIFT!!!!
PLEASE READ!!!
Essentially, for the morning periods, between the start of school and the K-2 lunch will shift by 5 minutes. Instead of beginning the sections at 8:45 a.m., we starting 5 minutes earlier. This will prevent specials from changing at the same time Kdg. and Gr. 1 are in the main hallway.
The K-2 LUNCH hour will REMAIN THE SAME, what is changing is the times for the specials. All the specials times in the afternoon will also remain the same (starting at 1:00 p.m.)
The updated schedule is linked below. It can also be found on the WHS My44 Portal.

Anna Traficanti- Infinity Reading and Math Teacher
If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it?
The Teacher Who Dances on Tables
Favorite Memory of WHS:
One of my favorite memories was the flash mob we did a few years ago. I think the response from students and families when they saw it was priceless.
Memory of My Elementary School Experience:
I remember my 5th grade teacher would write to us in little booklets. We would write back and share our thoughts, concerns and interests. She learned a lot about us and what we wanted/needed from her. I remember writing that I wanted my work shown on her 'star' board... It got up there eventually.
Three Words That Describe Me:
Positive, silly, ambitious, compassionate (only 3?)
Bucket List:
Go to Greece
What is your hidden talent?
I have a fierce determination to prove myself.
What advice would you give to someone just starting off their career in education?
Patience, patience, patience. Trial and error.. learn from your mistakes & be willing to admit when you are wrong. Get to know your kids, not just what you think you know or what you've been told. They give hints in their work and how they approach their day. Be aware of their quirks so you can BEST help them on that particular day!
What is the last joke that you recall?
Did you hear about the two guys that stole a calendar? They each got six months.
Best Concert:
It is a tie.. Jade Simmons (classical pianist think Rachmaninoff to Rap) & Pentatonix Christmas concert
