Tobacco Kills over 5 million people worldwide every year.

Do you really want to be a part of that number? Lets look at the facts.

Fact: Tobacco contains at least 50 carcinogens (substances known to cause cancer).

Fact: Cigarettes contain several deadly ingredients, including Butane, Benzene, Formaldehyde, Ammonia, Acetone, Tar, Nicotine, Carbon monoxide, Arsenic, and Hydrogen Cyanide, among others.

Fact: Nicotine is one of the most addictive substances known to man. It is a powerful medical and non-medical poison.

Fact: Cancers from smoking include: Bladder cancer, Cervical cancer, Esophageal cancer, Kidney Cancer, Larynx (voice box) cancer, Lung cancer, Mouth cancer, Pharynx (throat) cancer, Stomach cancer, Uterus cancer, and Breast cancer.

Fact: Besides Cancer, Tobacco is known to cause Coronary Heart disease, Infertility, preterm delivery, stillbirth, and SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome)

Don't use Tobacco!

If you are using tobacco, quit now! It can be tough, yes, but you will definitely thank yourself 15 years from now. Here are some ways to help you quit:

Dealing with Nicotine Withdrawal: use gum, lozenges or patches to wean yourself off of the nicotine.

Dealing with Oral Fixation: Chew sunflower seeds, Pumpkin seeds or gum, suck on hard candy or try a lollipop.

Keeping your hands busy: Learn to knit, squeeze a stress ball, do cooking, do puzzles or handheld games.

Changing mental habits: Change your routines, start a hobby, learn a new skill.
