6th Grade Orientation & New to the Building 7th/8th Slideshow Presentation
Period by Period Schedule
The period by period schedule for middle school is shared below with times for each grade level.
Lunch at Grizzell
We will do our best to space students 3 feet apart for lunch in our cafeteria and we will direct them to put their masks back on immediately after they are done eating. Although we have limited outdoor seating and the weather in Ohio is unpredictable, we will use the courtyard as an additional eating space as often as we can. Students will have the opportunity to pick their seats over the first three days and decide on a permanent seat on Friday. Permanent seats will allow us to create a seating chart and allow for contact tracing if necessary. Breakfast and Lunch will be grab and go and available to all students free of charge.
Student Drop Off/Pick Up
6th Grade: 6th grade parent drop off/pick up is in the parking lot near the tennis courts on the east side of the building. Click HERE for the drop off/pick up video.
7th/8th Grade: 7th/8th grade parent drop off/pick up is the the main parking lot directly across from the main entrance to the building. Click HERE for a drop off video. Click HERE for a pick up video . *** Although the voice in the video says 6th grade, this is the procedure for 7th/8th grade.

JJ Strong 5K on August 14th
JJ Thomas was diagnosed with Leukemia on November 4, 2016. He was in 7th grade at Grizzell Middle School in Dublin, OH, playing football and soccer, doing well in school, and enjoying his friends. One phone call changed all of that. He spent the next year undergoing intense chemotherapy, having bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, and blood transfusions, unable to attend school, or have much interaction with the outside world as he often did not feel well and his immune system was very compromised. Throughout this time, JJ, along with his siblings Larkin and Zach, his parents, Luke and Michelle kept their faith and a positive attitude and did everything to FIGHT to beat cancer.
On March 2, 2020, JJ RANG THE BELL at Nationwide Children’s Hospital signifying the completion of his treatment. He and his family looked forward to living with less restriction and worry and getting out into the world more. The pandemic made that more difficult but due to JJ’s positive attitude and resilience he and his family found ways to enjoy life throughout the last year. We want to bring back the JJ STRONG 5K this year to celebrate life and raise money for Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Families for a Cure to give back after receiving so much. Please join us!
There will be options for both a 5K run/walk or a 1.4-mile walk providing something for everyone!
Please note: all those 18 & under registering for an in-person event will receive a $5 discount at check-out!
