Weekly News for All Our Bulldogs
1-19 - VIRTUAL LEARNING DAY
Just a reminder - there is NO in person school on 1-19-2021. All students will participate virtually through the Canvas course sent earlier in the year from the district. IF your student needs the invite again - the link is:
Schedule for January 20, 2021
The schedule will be 4-5-6-7-1-2-3. Lunch will be based on period 7 teacher. - Please check attachment for bell schedule times and FOCUS for student class period assignments.
Returning In Person Students
ALL STUDENTS WHO WERE NOT VIRTUAL STUDENTS AT THE END OF QTR 2 will need to report to their 4th period class from 1-15-2021 on Wednesday 1-20. All students will be getting their Quarter 3 Schedules in their 4th period class from 1-15-2021. If there is a schedule change, it will be reflected on that schedule at that time.
Students Returning to Campus
ALL STUDENTS WHO WERE VIRTUAL (eCA or OMS Virtual) as of 1-15-2021 will come directly to school and we will have locations set for you to report to. There will be signs alerting you! We have a min-orientation as well as a review of expectations for all new to campus students.
1-20 - Picture Retakes
Just a reminder that picture retakes are 1-20. Students who missed pictures before or who need a retake are allowed to have their pictures done. If students are getting retakes, they will need to bring in the packet from the previous picture day.
1-22 - Change in Bell Schedule - Mental Health Video Lesson
There will be a change in the bell schedule on 1-22 (Friday) for the Mental Health Video. Please see schedule below.
Water Bottles
Just a reminder that all students should have a NON-DISPOSABLE water bottle daily. Disposable ones are not allowed.
Lunch Procedures
There will be some adjustments to lunch procedures for quarter 3. Please watch the announcements and listen for the directions. Thank you!
Parent-Teacher Contact
Parents - if you are sending a message to teachers, please make sure to use traditional email. Canvas messages are meant to be for student communication and receive different alerts for staff that emails from parents. Canvas messages are meant for student-teacher contact.

LAPTOPS - Please Use Responsibly!
Just a reminder - laptops are still CCPS property and need to be cared for responsibly.
Pursuant to Rule 27 of the District’s Code of Student Conduct, students are responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of District property in their possession such as a laptop or other electronic device. The rule provides the following:
RULE 27. SCHOOL PROPERTY – MATERIALS/BOOKS/INTERNET
- Students are expected to take good care of school property. Students must assume full responsibility for the care of school property available to them. This includes, but is not limited to textbooks, uniforms, equipment, electronic devices, or library books. These items are issued by school personnel and must be returned to the same person upon completion of the school year or withdrawal from school. Responsibility for the property rests with the student to whom the property is issued.
The cost to repair or replace laptops for irresponsible damage is as follows:
- Power adapter $48.00
- Keyboard $95.00
- Screen $231.00
- Laptop Total Replacement $586.00
Do You Need To Drop of Your Student Before 8:40 AM?
If so, please have your student join the Before School Program. The enrollment form is located below. Any questions, call 239-377-4800.
Morning Start of School
Please remember that the school gates open at 8:40 AM daily. Students will then report directly to their classes or to breakfast . If you have decided to keep your student in the car with you and wait until 8:40 to send them in, please move to a parking space so that we can keep traffic moving. Thank you so much for helping us make this transition smoothly!

Virtual Students Technical Issues
When students are having technical issues, with regards to attendance, parents may call the attendance HOT line (377-4831) and we will adjust the attendance. THANK YOU!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Please help us by making sure if you move, you have given us your new address within 30 days!! When we don't have this information, it can be problematic especially when students transition to high school. Call the school at 377-4800 if you have any questions.
