Please Welcome Mrs. Laura Seanor- 2nd Grade
HI everyone! My name is Mrs. Seanor and I teach 2nd grade here at Hawthorn. I have taught all grades from Pre-K to 3rd grade and second grade is my favorite! :) I have taught in the Wausau School District for over 20 years, but this is my first time teaching at Hawthorn. I am lucky to get to work with Mrs. Johnson and all the wonderful staff at this amazing school. My husband teaches at NTC in Wausau, in the Graphics program. We are blessed to have two beautiful daughters - Emily and Allison. Emily goes to college at Michigan Tech and Allison is a sophomore at Wausau West. We also have a fluffy dog named Lucy. Our family loves to travel and explore new places. We like to hike and bike and be outside to experience nature. Our favorite times are when we all get to be together, whether it is when we are traveling or when everyone is home to share a meal. My hobbies include reading, taking Lucy for a walk, traveling to new places and spending time with my family. I also like to do hair and makeup for weddings and special events. Thank you to all for the warm welcome and well wishes! I am proud to be a Hawk!
Please Welcome Mrs. Sherry Larson- 4th Grade
Hello, my name is Mrs. Larson and I teach fourth grade at the wonderful Hawthorne Hills Elementary School. I enjoy acting, singing, photography, and reading. I have two dogs at home. My husband and I together have five children and nine grandchildren. I have amazing students this year, and am looking forward to watching them grow in their learning. GO HAWKS!
Wake Up with Hawthorn!
Around this time of the year, we usually have a bike/walk to school day. Because we are unable to do that, we would like to give you another opportunity to be able to get some exercise in!
Join us to Wake Up with Hawthorn on Tuesday, October 27th, from 8:00am-8:15am.
Grades K, 1 & 2 will be stretching and grades 3, 4, & 5 will be doing some yoga!
