Applications are always open, and will be reviewed after September 30 in order to fill open positions. DEIAC applications can be found online here and questions can be directed to Laura Washington. Wellness Committee applications can be found online here and questions can be directed to Musetta Deneen.
The Sexual Education Advisory Board (SEAB) will host public hearings during two upcoming Board of Education Meetings, September 26 and October 10. The first hearing will also serve as an introduction to members of the SEAB and an overview of the advisory board’s goals and objectives for the upcoming school year. The SEAB will host public hearings on the recommendation to include lessons from the Body Safety Training curriculum for lower elementary buildings in Saline. The goal of this curriculum is to teach students about various types of safety, including body safety, as a means of reducing the risk of childhood injury and sexual abuse against young children.
