The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art's World of Work (WoW) Internship Program
WoW is a wonderful opportunity for students to participate in a three-month paid internship at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art. During their internship, students will be given the opportunity to engage in multiple aspects of running a museum including: leading art lessons for children in grades 1-5, working with our ArtAccess programs, participating in museum events, and learning from museum staff and artists through individual workshops.
The attached document provides further information about the program and how students can apply. The deadline for application submission is February 28th.

Kudos
Thank you Kevin Summerfield, Gene Chism, Leah Dunbar, Casey Tiemann, and the Black Student Union - for the thoughtful planning and organization of the 'Black Lives Matter' exhibit. I am thankful that we are a school that supports student voice and looks to create greater awareness within our community.
Nita Halstead - Thank you for being a trailblazer with interventions. Your creative thinking is always in the best interest of the students. The part that I want to recognize is that you see the Whole Child. Thank you for bringing adjustments and refinements forward to the 504 accommodations with lour students. You saw an opportunity to enhance our system for the benefit of students.
Congratulations to our Thespians!! - The Churchill High School Thespians' Fall production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time was selected by the Oregon Thespian Society to perform their play at the State Festival in April in front of all the other drama students in the state--an honor given to only three other schools in the state. This is drama's version of the state championship and our amazing students have won. Look forward to an encore presentation of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night in late March.
