Cooper School Announcements
We are looking forward to welcoming all Cooper families to our in-person Back to School Night event, Wednesday September 21, 2022. Please park in the Side Parking Lot and enter through Door 7 near the All-Purpose Room. Click here to access the event overview.
All classes within Cooper School use the Class Dojo App for communication with families. This tool allows teachers to share classroom updates, send reminders, and communicate directly with families of students. The app can be downloaded to your mobile phone for convenient use without sharing cell phone numbers. Click Here to register with your child's teacher.
Please keep in mind this app is intended for quick notes and reminders. Please do not send time sensitive information or important concerns through Class Dojo messaging. If you have a time sensitive message, or need to discuss a concern, please call the school 856-424-4554.
Thank you to all of our families for helping us to create a safe and efficient morning drop-off. Please keep in mind the following important safety reminders:
- When entering the parking lot, please follow the cones to the car line.
- Please DO NOT park and walk your child through the car line. This creates unsafe conditions and further delays the car line.
- Have your child ready to exit from driver's side of the vehicle. Please remain in your car. We will have additional adults at curbside drop-off to help students quickly exit their vehicles.
District Updates
Be sure to check out the latest Minute with Meloche video. https://youtu.be/CTg1Q-iep_s
In the video linked here, Dr. Meloche explains why the Cherry Hill Public School District is putting up for vote a bond referendum on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Curious what the impact will be on your taxes? Go to www.cherryhilltomorrow.com, scroll down to the "Tax Impact Calculator" & enter the ASSESSED VALUE of your home -- not what's on Zillow or other real estate sites. Unsure of your assessed value? Find it online.
Student Breakfast & Lunch Updates:
Breakfast and lunch are no longer free for all students. If you think you might qualify for free or reduced meals, please consider completing the application for Free and Reduced meals and soon as possible. When adding funds to your child's account, please use the PaySchools system. If you are unable to add funds online, you can send a check to the main office in an envelope labeled with your child's full name and teacher's name. We will deliver the check to Aramark to be added to your child's account.
