Divergence
Here you can see a traditional village in India. It is far less urbanized than the many cities and towns elsewhere.
This part of India is more urbanized with many cars and buildings. Also, speaking English is becoming more of a common thing.
Cultural Convergence; Democracy
Here you can see Egypt's constitutional committee approving a drafts of their new 2014 constitution. Before they had a dictatorship, but because the demands and voices of the people, they now have a similar government to America.
Cultural Convergence; English
Here you can see a school of Chinese children learning English. This is cultural convergence because many countries are now speaking English, which few countries spoke before.
Cultural Convergence; New Technology
In this picture you see a group of African men using cellular phones. Parts of Africa are becoming more urbanized as the popularity of certain technologies increases.
Cultural Convergence; sports
Every four years there is a nationwide sports competition known as the Olympics. The games are held in many different countries and everyone from any nation can attend, setting aside allies and enemies.
