All County Chorus!

Congratulations, Ryan, on participating in All County Chorus in the beautiful Amphitheater at the Chautauqua Institution. Great job - we are all proud of you!

Zoo Trip!

Our Pre-K - Grade 3 students started off driving though torrential rain and ended up having a cool, beautiful day, rainless day at the Erie Zoo on Monday! From the lioness to the white rhinos and the birds to the orangutans, students learned about many different animals from various parts of the worlds. Among the many things they did, students visited the Main Zoo Building and the Horse Barn, saw the giraffe house, and explored the Children's Adventure Area. The Erie Zoo is a favorite field trip each year for our younger students, but is fun for every age! For more information go to

Beauty and the Beast

The After School Drama Club and Set Design Club worked diligently to prepare for this spring's production of Beauty and the Beast. Audiences were treated to a wonderful show on Monday evening, June 8th. We appreciate all the hard work by both students and teachers that went into this special musical. Please enjoy these pictures!

Preschool Graduation

What could be sweeter than a Pre-K graduation ceremony?! We were so fortunate to have such a wonderful group of Pre-K students this year and appreciate all the support we received from other teachers, staff and families!

Good Luck at Chautauqua Lake Central School!

6th grade graduation is a rite of passage at RCS and sending our 6th graders on this year to new horizons was no exception. Our Ripley Scholars are prepared and excited for this new challenge in their young lives. We'll miss you!

On Thursday, June 11th, just before dismissal, students in grades 3 - 6 gathered for an Awards Assembly. Students received awards for academics (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music & Library) as well as Ripley Scholar Character Strengths (Curiosity, Self-Control, Optimism, Grit, Social Intelligence, Zest & Gratitude). Awards were also announced for Physical Fitness, Running and Girls on the Run/Boys on the Right Track.

Next stop, kindergarten!

Pre-K students (now KINDERGARTENERS!) in Mrs. Graham's class spent their last day in a celebration of their learning. They donned party hats, grabbed noisemakers and paraded around the building showing off all they had learned. "I can name animals and plants in a woodland habitat!" HONK! "I can write my name like a kindergartener!" HONK! "I can sit quietly and track the speaker during group discussions!" HONK! You get the picture.

They pulled out all the stops in their celebration, enjoying everything from play dough to shaving cream to the sudsy water table. Mrs. Stonefoot came in to celebrate with them during math time, and Ms. Bofinger joined them to sing songs while they splashed around on their last day of Pre-K.

Just think, this is the graduating class of 2028!
