From the Eagle's Nest!

Dear Families,

What a busy week!

Tuesday we had about 20 4K students (a few from each of our 8 classrooms) sing at our NJSD Board meeting for School Board Appreciation week!

Wednesday we had many families join us for our Washington Playground Grand Opening!

Saturday was a great day of family fun at Cavanaugh Carriages!

A big thanks to our staff for the super job they have done planning all of these events! Thank you to parents for bringing your children to these various events...we would not have been successful without your partnership!

A big thank you to MR. JAY for all of his hard work and dedication to making these events extra special! Thanks, Mr. Jay!!

We will get pictures of all of these events posted on our Washington webpage soon!

Student Absences

Please remember to call our office to inform us of a student absence. If we do not receive a call, you can expect for Mrs. Calkins to call you to find out where your child is. We do this for the safety of your child.

We need to record a reason in our system, so please inform us WHY your child is absent for the day. If we do not get a response from you, your child will be marked as unexcused.

Please note: although 4K is not a mandatory grade, we are still very interested in consistent attendance for your child. Help us set a positive attendance record for your child now that will continue throughout their school years.

Please contact Mrs. Nelson with any questions/concerns.
