Only 14 large animals have been actually domesticated. Out of the 14 sheep, pigs, goats, cattle and horse were the most important because they are stubborn, nervous, solitary or anxious, making them easier to train. The animals were a large help in multiple areas like food, hunting and transportation.

The domestication of animals affected the community by changing it from a hunter-gatherer type. This made it a lot easier for everyone to get food, because instead of having to hunt (and living on just barely enough to survive), more food was available for everyone.
