Graduation Season Is Upon Us
Congratulations to Loy Norrix and Kalamazoo Central high schools for their amazing commencement ceremonies on Wednesday and Thursday. Staff did a great job creating memorable nights for the graduates and their families in the first full, traditional graduations in two years. Enjoy pictures of our great graduates — and watch for more photos next week from the graduation ceremonies for Phoenix High School, which is tonight, and Kalamazoo Innovative Learning Program, which is on Monday.
Local Author Visits Northeastern Elementary
Northeastern Elementary School welcomed local guest author Dr. Carol Hoggan to read her book "The Adventures of Little Sherlock, Case #1: Do Teachers Live at School," to the school's kindergarten and first grade students. Teachers loved this adorable book, which explains what detectives do. Students voted whether or not they believed teachers live at school based on the clues. Each student and teacher received an autographed of the book. Read more about the book at https://www.amazon.com/dp/1737020297/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_G7NVHPCR01H9XTH5D26S
