Principal's Message
It’s a bit of a wonder that every morning and every afternoon in fewer than 20 minutes, nearly 500 students move in and out of CF Tigard elementary school. About 300 of these students ride our buses to school every day, and the rest of our students join us by walking, riding bikes or scooters or are dropped off by car. All of this movement in such a short time span can put a strain on both the folks trying to get in and out of CFT as well as on our neighbors and surrounding streets. If you drop your children off at school, please be mindful of one another and of our neighbors by:
Following the directions of CFT staff
Avoiding parking or driving on private property such as lawns, easements or driveways
Leaving mailboxes and driveways clear
Driving slowly and watching for adults and children in the roadway
If you see something or have concerns about drop off or pick up, please let us know. You can contact me directly with concerns at twicker@ttsd.k12.or.us

Me puede contactar directamente si tiene inquietudes a twicker@ttsd.k12.or.us

MESSAGE FROM YOUR PARENT SUPPORT ORGANIZATION (PSO)
Last Friday, the CFT staff got to enjoy a yogurt breakfast parfait bar put on by the PSO! Thank you all for participating in dining night outs, PSO sponsored events, buying spirit wear and donating! Those fundraisers are what make these events for our wonderful CFT staff possible.
Speaking of events, Valentine's BINGO is coming up on Feb. 14th! 6:00-8:00 in the CFT cafeteria, don't miss the fun! We are still looking for donations for the Build-A-Bear prizes! You can purchase a bear and we will pick it up, you can venmo our BINGO coordinator and she'll get one for you, or you can drop off a gift certificate as well! Any questions or want to help, e-mail cftpsopres@gmail.com. These donations allow us to fundraise at BINGO night which brings money, experiences and field trips directly back to our CFT students.
Next week is National Counselor Week - if you see Ms. Cowan in the hall, give her a shout out!
PSO will be at a table handing out prizes for students who participate in Walk and Roll to School day on Feb. 8th! You can walk, ride, scooter, rollerskate....
