Students at Aberdeen High School showed their spirit for the drive during the Foodball Kickoff Assembly on Thursday. Aberdeen is looking to extend its winning streak to an unprecedented four consecutive wins. Last year, the two rivals collected a combined 1.5 million "pounds" for area food banks.

Meet the Leadership Teams

The leadership teams from both schools meet each year to review the rules, mutually agree to the official events and share information. Aberdeen's ASB team (in the Blue & Gold) includes front row, from left: Madi Niemi, Jimmy Boora, Patrick Hunt and Josh Fritts. Back row: Brooke Solan, Abbie Bradt, Isabel Rifenberg, Emmy Walsh and Molly Scroggs.

Help support the coin drives at the grade schools

It’s not just Aberdeen High School students who work hard on behalf of the community during Foodball. All five elementary schools (and Miller Junior High) take part, as well. The grade schools hold coin competitions. Get ready to part with your spare change and help the students at your favorite grade school win the Foodball competition.

Each school runs their Foodball drive a little differently, but on November 12, we will know which class at each school has won an ice cream party with the AHS cheerleaders and the Bobcat.
