Principal's Message:

Dear Tiger Community,

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! I am honored to serve as Principal at Table Rock Elementary for my 5th year and work with an amazing staff and community to make TRE a great place for our scholars to learn. It is exciting that we are returning to in-person learning this fall, and we have been working hard to make sure we can safely do so! Our TRE staff and our families care deeply for our scholars' success and well being. Working together and giving grace is a must during this time. Together, we will continue to make TRE a great place to learn.

As you likely know, Governor Brown and the Oregon Department of Education have issued an indoor mask mandate with additional guidance for schools. For Table Rock Elementary, this means we are taking the steps needed to return to in-person learning while meeting all health and safety measures. We have received the most recent guidance updates from the Oregon Department of Education, determined our staffing needs, and planned necessary processes to ensure we are ready for a safe, healthy, and successful school year!

This school year is a different start, but TRE is still the place to be! This year, I am joined by our new Assistant Principal, Sara Hamilton - your admin team is looking forward to seeing our families. We are committed to working with our families to ensure a positive learning experience for our scholars. Let's stay positive, give grace, and work together to make this a great year at TRE!

Return to In-Person Learning Family Handbook

In an effort to support communication with our families, we have again developed an In-Person Learning Family handbook with all the information we thought they may need or have been asking about. Our goal was to provide families with a 'go-to' resource as we continue to navigate through this pandemic. We will be keeping this updated with revisions and added information. This was also posted on Facebook and sent to family emails.

Registration - If you have not registered your child for the 2021-2022 school year, please don't forget to do so as soon as possible. It is important that we have current information and emergency contacts on file. Registration can be completed through the ParentVue app. The front office is available to help with any questions. 541-830-1350

Medication Reminder

Student medications and refills MUST be brought by an adult to the front office in the original prescription bottle in order for us to accept them, and the proper medical forms completed. Please call our front office if you have any questions, 541-830-1350

Monitoring Air Quality

During the smokey season, TRE will monitor the air quality before each recess break. We follow the guidelines recommended by the Oregon Health Authority - Public Health Guidance for School Outdoor Activities.

During moderate conditions, sensitive groups will stay in, and during unhealthy conditions, all students will remain inside. Please notify your teacher if your scholar should be considered in the sensitive group.

Reminder that we are an outside school. Scholars will need to go outside to use the restroom and enter the cafeteria.
