We had such a fabulous Dia de los Ninos! The costumes were adorable, the activities were excellent and we loved it all! We buddy read with 5th graders, learned from a real author/illustrator, had a drum experience, danced and sang with a musical story teller, learned about the FM Library summer reading challenge, and had a picnic outside. Whew!
If you have not turned in your field trip forms and money please get that in on Monday.
The chicks are returning to the farm. They were so sweet and we loved holding them and observing them. It was a great experience.
A big thank you to all of you for fulfilling my wish list at the BookFair! I am so lucky to have such generous families! And a big thank you to Lia's parents that purchased a bunch of BFG novels for us. We still need a few more so that everyone can read along, but WOW! did that help. If you have a copy at home please send it in on Monday.
Have a beautiful weekend!

Science-We are now in our animal unit and will be looking at adaptations, behaviors, classifications, and more!
