Where is the Tigua Tribe located?
The Tigua Tribe is located in the mountain and basin region which is in West Texas. Tigua tribe is in West Texas where El Paso is. The Tribe was in the desert where is not many Resources.
Life Style
The envirment around them was very dry and not a lot of resources because there is mountains and deserts all around them. The only kind of food there is around them is game and the water is springs near the mountains
Diet and Dwelling
The food that the tribe ate is beans, squash, corn, dear, rabbits, antelope, bear, and berries. The tribe lived in adobe houses that are made of mud, brick, sand, clay, water, sticks, straw, and poop
Interesting Facts
The Tigua tribe has the oldest tribal council.
The Tigua province extended over 11 or 12 leagues along the Rio Grande and consisted of 8 pueblos.
Spanish is there main language.
Their range was for the greater part an inhospitable desert.
