EISENHOWER GAVE THE ORDERS TO START THE INVASION OF GERMAN OCCUPIED FRANCE. IT TOOK 4 HOURS FOR THE ALLIES TO CROSS THE BRITSH CHANNEL (ENGLAND TO NORMANY), DUE TO THE ROUGH WATERS.


150,000 TROOPS FROM BRITIAN, UNITED STATES AND CANADA STORM ONTO THE BEACHES OF NORMANDY.


THE BEACHES WERE VAST AND SPANNED FOR 50 MILES, SO THE AREA WAS STRATEGIALLY DIVIDED BETWEEN THE 3 ARMIES.

UTAH - AMERICAN SOLIDERS

SWORD - BRITSH SOLIDERS

GOLD - BRITISH SOLIDERS
