BOWL ON!
Congratulations to the Boys Bowling Team: Noel Hernandez, Marlon Gonzalez - Delgado, Jovanny Maldonado, Angel Valejo - Llames, Jonathon Isaac, and Jordan Cade - Rowser on defeating ACA last week 1044 - 986 to qualify for the Regional Tournament in Birmingham this Thursday and Friday. The Boys finished the season 6 - 2 in the area (runner-up) and 7 - 2 overall. We are very proud of their accomplishments!
Our girls lost to ACA 972 - 851 but the 851 was the girls high score for the season. The girls finished 3 - 5 in the area and 3 - 6 overall but continued to score higher as the season progressed.

Get Ready for EPIC!
Interested in your child participating in dual enrollment? On 2/12/2020, Bryant High School will be taking eligible 9th graders on an EPIC field trip to Shelton State Community College. At this EPIC event, students will Explore Potential Interests in Careers. Students will be introduced to the many careers available through the programs offered at Shelton State. Students can visit each department/program offered at Shelton State Community College and learn the many different ways that students can earn a certificate or degree and the transfer process to four-year institutions. Permission forms will be available in the cafeteria during lunch shifts 1/14/2020 — 1/15/2020. Permission forms are due by the end of the school day on 1/17/2020. Encourage your student to light up their future by attending this EPIC event.

- The TCS Bookin' It 5K is back! The event will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools. The 5K will kick off at 8:00 a.m. Racers are encouraged to dress as their favorite book character, but this is not required. Awards will be given for first, second, and third place qualifiers in various age and gender categories, as well as best costume, and highest school participation. Register here to sign up for the race. Be sure to “join an existing group/team” to support your school!
- We are excited to announce that the Paul W. Bryant High School PTSA is now on Facebook. This group is open to everyone affiliated with our school including parents and other family members, teachers, students, alumni and friends of Bryant High. Just like PTSA membership is open to all, so is membership in this new Facebook group. Join the group today by clicking this LINK.
There will be an interest meeting for the Marching Band Auxiliary teams on Thursday, January 16th. All young ladies wanting to attend the interest meeting can sign up during their lunch waves or stop by the dance RM # 111 for more information.

Spread the word, a place to develop a strong foundation of Moral Support, self- motivation for students through prayer, open discussion, and much more.
