Building a Brighter Future!
LVES Mission and Vission
Knowing our New Crew - Mrs. Pam Kelly
Greetings from the science lab! I am happy to be a part of Lewisville Elementary. This is my 14th year of teaching and my 10th year in LISD. I was most recently a fourth grade teacher before becoming exclusively a science teacher.
My family is from Louisiana, and I graduated from Louisiana Tech University. I also have a Master’s degree from UNT. My husband Jeff and I have lived in Texas for 22 years now. Our two kids are Sela (15) and Zane (12). They attend LISD schools in Carrollton. I was blessed to be a stay at home mom for 10 years, and I still volunteer in my kids’ activities: Boy Scouts, middle school band, and high school debate. In my free time I will be with my family, at church functions, traveling, and reading or watching movies.
Campus Improvement Plan Goals III and IV
Goal 3: Resource Stewardship
In LISD, when we say we want to be good stewards of our resources, we aren't just talking about taxpayer dollars. Resource stewardship is about three things: our time, talent and treasure. We will strike a positive work/life balance with our time, nurture our talents as educators through meaningful professional learning, and manage our treasure in a fiscally responsible way while still meeting student needs.
Goal 4: Community Engagement -
We believe education is a shared responsibility between our district and the communities we serve. Community engagement is critical to the success of LISD. Through intentional strategic partnerships at the campus and district level, we can tap into the deep well of community support for LISD to forge stronger bonds with our stakeholders and develop relationships to benefit schools, local businesses and the community.
Thank you to the BLT for collaborating on the creation of these strategies.

- Remember that the students progress goals need to focus on writing.
Communication
Make at least one positive phone call or contact with each child’s parents within the first month of school.
Keep parents informed of academic and behavioral concerns. No surprises!
Routinely, all grade levels should send student papers, newsletters, etc.
