Skittles say Taste the Rainbow, well we say MOVE the Rainbow. Yes, move it move it move it! Our 1st graders are using the colors of the rainbow to perfect their motor skills, build friendships, cultivate teamwork, and condition themselves for future fitness endeavors.
We are learning the proper way to move left, right, back, forward, up and down; continuously pushing our bodies, making strong advancements in active personal space through color-associated games. But that’s not all….
We are currently working on our body control. Getting from point A to B isn’t enough. Controlling our bodies as we move is the challenge and our 1st graders have accepted that head on!
