Good Evening Mayfield!


Happy Spring Break, Mayfield! I'm sure that everyone is very excited to enter spring break and get some time to rest, relax, and get rejuvenated for the last six weeks of the school year when we return.


The final six weeks of the school year will go by extremely fast. Administrators, teachers, and students will be busy wrapping up the last couple of lessons and preparing students for the SOL exams.


Please remember that the school building will be closed throughout spring break.

National Assistant Principal Appreciation Week

This past week was a week that we were able to recognize our assistant principals for their contributions to the Mayfield Intermediate School community. We are extremely fortunate to have two outstanding assistant principals here at Mayfield. Mrs. Huntely, our 6th grade assistant principal, and Mr. Moore, our 5th grade assistant principal, make a terrific team and work tirelessly to support our students, parents, and staff.

National School Library Week

This past week was also a time to recognize school librarians. Libraries are the central hub for learning for any school or community. Here at Mayfield Intermediate School, we have Mrs. Ewing and Mrs. Knapp. We are excited about the future of the media center and continuing its positive impact on our students and their learning. Below you can see the future Mayfield Intermediate School Media Center as we begin our renovations this summer.
