LEADERSHIP TRIP PARENT MEETING
Parents of leadership students attending the Philadelphia Trip in May, there will be a required parent meeting on January 31, 2023, from 6:00-6:30 in the CGIS Theater. Please enter through the theater doors. If you can not attend the meeting please send a representative to pick up paperwork and relay information from the meeting.
PROCEDURE FOR STUDENT ILLNESS
As students return to school and cool weather approaches, we want to remind families of the MCS attendance policy, particularly as it relates to illnesses.
Students are limited to ten (10) excused days with parental notes for the year. Any absences, beyond those ten (10), without medical or legal documentation will be unexcused.
We ask our families to keep sick students at home. If you are unsure or have questions regarding MCS procedures for student illnesses, please contact our school nurse.

CGIS SPELLING BEE
The Bee will begin at 8:45 a.m., and parents of participating students are welcome to attend. If you choose to come, please arrive early to allow time to sign in and get seated. Once we begin we would like to minimize distractions for the spellers. Please direct any questions to Katie Voyles in the library (katie.voyles@maryville-schools.org). We are very excited for our Spelling Bee participants and wish them all the best of luck!
