The great depression
The Great Depression was a severe worldwide economic depression in the 1930s. In most countries it started in 1929 and lasted until the late 1930s. The depression originated in the United states. The great depression is know as Black Tuesday.
Women Rights
Didn't have as much rights back then and they were supposed to help your kids and do things around the house, but they didn't want to do that and it was eventually switch where they could go help you things and Laura like build bombs and weapons and things.
Residential Schools
For many Canadians, people who spoke a language other than English or French, were seen as a threat to the Canada's mainly British and French culture. In 1923, the Canadian government had passed the Chinese Immigration Act, which nearly ended immigration to Canada from the Chinas.
