Chloe Grace Moretz: Isabelle
Sacha Baron Cohen: Station Inspector
Character Roles:
Hugo: He is not an ideal perfect child, he steals, lies, and doesn’t attend school as much as he should. He doesn’t have that many friends either. He is like the fan favorite because of his background and his story. It is sad because of the things that he has been through and that he has no control over it. But he doesn’t let that stop him. He makes things happen. He searches for his family and is not going to let anything get in his way
Isabelle: Isabelle meets and befriends Hugo in a train station in Paris while he is fleeing from the Station Inspector. Hugo and Isabelle become close friends very quickly and Isabelle decides to accompany Hugo on his adventure.
George Méliès: George is a father. He seems like the typical old guy who would yell “get off my lawn!” at some random kid walking by. But as everything starts to fall into place you realize the George isn’t really a grumpy old man, he just has had a rough past and is watching out for Hugo and Isabelle.
Gustave Dasté: Gustave is the Station Inspector. Gustave was an orphan when he was younger and he has a major leg injury from fighting in “The Great War” and was fitted a leg brace. Gustave always tried to catch Hugo and never wanted him running around causing trouble and always wondered where he was.
