Principal's Point
It's hard to believe we're already in the last week of January! We will continue our focus on kindness through our Friendship Parties next week (February 5th). Please continue sharing all of the acts of kindness our scholars perform here. Our scholars did all of the kind things below last week:
- Third grader Emma Davis helps her little sister with her school work every day.
- Third grader Kendall Petty cleared the dinner table off for her family and helped her sister with her school work.
- First grader Kenleigh Petty washed dishes and loaded the dishwasher for her family.
- Second grader Kyran Carpenter took the time to gather the chrome books after stations and to plug them all in very carefully without being asked.
- First grader Evelyn Hopson complimented another scholar's haircut.
- Fourth grader Kaysen Hamilton always greets his classmates and cheers them on for working hard.
- Third grader Aaron Mejia helped a classmate pick up his belongings when the fell on the floor.
- Second grader Brodee Barragan was entering the Kindergarten hallway with his classmates and saw a teacher coming that way, so he very thoughtfully stayed behind to hold the door open for her.
- Kindergarten scholar Adalei Braun complimented a friend, telling him how wonderful he was to go off the chart with his behavior. She said, "Michael, You're so good! You go off the chart a lot!"
- Pre-K scholar Jorge Rivero offered a friend a turn while playing a dice game.
