Teen Numbers!This week we concentrated on "teen numbers." We talked about how each number is a group of 10 a set of 1's! We learned some fun new songs and played some fun games! | The Great Kindness Challenge This week we talked a lot about kindness. We reviewed how to treat others, be respectful and how we can be a good friend. We talked about showing it in school and out of school. We also did a fun kindness project with our 4th grade buddies! | Kindergarten Music Concert!MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Friday February 10th is our kindergarten music concert. Mrs. Flatness and Mrs. Peoples, along with our Kindergarteners, will be performing for family and friends. The concert is at 2:30pm in the gym. More details to come as we get closer! |

This week we concentrated on "teen numbers." We talked about how each number is a group of 10 a set of 1's! We learned some fun new songs and played some fun games!
The Great Kindness Challenge
What did we learn this week?
Writing: This week the students began to try two pictures and two sentences. They are doing a great job of trying and working hard. We love to share with each other and give complements and wishes for continued practice.
Phonics: We learned the poem "My Eyes Can See" and the students found rhyming and HFW. We continued to work on Consonant, Vowel, Consonant words (CVC words).
Math: We continued to talk about "teen numbers." We talked about how a teen number is 10 plus another number. We did some fun activities around teen numbers.
