Grahamville Rescue
Thank you so much for all of the donations for the animal shelter we sponsored. We made many dogs and cats very happy...as well as the volunteers who give their time. Mrs. Ploen brought in her rescue dog Riley, who enjoyed getting lots of pats on the head. Mr. Ortiz was not so happy about the dog hair on the carpet...
Math
We are reviewing our math standards before we take our end of unit test. One activity is to have partner A put out a certain number of unifix cubes. Then partner B records that number on a sheet. Partner A then takes some unifix cubes away while partner B has their head turned. Partner B then has to find out how many were taken away!
Writing
Editing our writing helps us to become better writers. We are getting ready to write our final essay on informational topics. We went back into our practice stories and made sure we had ending marks.
Phonics
Our word families this week are an and am. Why not make stocking word families to help us practice????
Top Dog
Will was our Top Dog. His favorite animal is the Honey Badger and he enjoys eating tater tots. He is pawsome at running and riding his dirt bike--that is why he wants to be a dirt bike rider when he grows up!
