In the Wisconsin Woods 1870,s

This winter Pa is preparing for winter by chopping wood and storing meat. Ma,Mary, and Laura are storing fruits and vegetables. Sooner or later it was Christmas they had family members over for Christmas.

In the spring Pa is harvesting the field. Ma, Mary, and Laura are busy baking and cleaning the house.

Charley was annoying to Pa and His dad while they were working in the field. A little later he steps in a bee hive in the ground. Aunt Polly undressed him while Ma was getting mud for him. Ma and Aunt Polly put mud on him and wrapped him in cloth.

Life in the woods seems harder then you think.
