Band Concert

It’s CONCERT WEEK!!!!!

Tuesday January 25th @ 6:00pm

(due to the supply issues, the program is digital this concert!)

The concert is a mandatory summative that earns credit across ALL four summative criterion.

By performing in the concert, students are guaranteed to earn at least a 6/8!

TUESDAY’S SCHEDULE – CONCERT DAY!!

All Students arrive 5:00-5:15 to Band Room wearing concert black with instrument and black music binder. Students are permitted to wear their concert black to school Thursday to promote the concert!

6:00 – MS Concert (Blue + Dragon Bands), middle school families ONLY in Auditorium

(max 2 people per family)

6:15ish – MS Concert ends, Blue Band departs, Dragon Band stays, HS families enter Auditorium (max 2 people per family)

(HS families, please remain in your cars until 6:15pm)

6:30 – Symphonic Concert (Dragon + HS + DP + Alumni)

7:00ish – Concert ends, all musicians & families leave by 7:15pm

Winter Sports are Underway!

REMINDER:

There are NO SPECTATORS AT ANY CREC SCHOOL EVENTS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Some non-CREC schools are currently still allowing spectators. The CIAC has asked that all spectators adhere to the mask guidelines and refrain from attending any sporting events if a spectator is: experiencing any symptoms, has been exposed and/or is waiting for COVID results.

Health & Wellness

CT State Department of Public Health requires that all students have an updated physical exam and specific immunizations prior to the entrance of the 7th and 10th grades. This is a friendly reminder that physical exams and immunization services are available to all MLC Students, including CDLA students

Please reach out to the SBHC ASAP if your student is need of receiving updated immunizations, or the required 7th/10th grade physicals! We also provide physicals for college entry or sports participation.

Completed documents may be returned via fax to 860-286-1195, via scan/email to ccolon@crec.org, or have the student return forms to school nurse's office.
