Countdown the 10 BIG Ideas from the Carpenter!
Number 10: Life and Success are About What You Choose to Believe
It’s not what you believe when things are going well. It’s what you truly believe when things are really going wrong.
From the book:
“You can! You can choose to see it! Life and success are about what you choose to believe. It’s easy to believe things will be great when everything is going well, but the true test of your faith is what you believe when you are facing insurmountable challenges.
The late and great Nelson Mandela said it best: ‘I am fundamentally an optimist. Whether that comes from nature or nurture, I cannot say. Part of being optimistic is keeping one’s head pointed toward the sun, one’s feet moving forward. There were many dark moments when my faith in humanity was sorely tested, but I would not and could not give myself up to despair. That way lays defeat and death.''
I encourage you to revisit the carpenter and allow it it spark the fire that we had from the beginning of the year that pushed us to Love, Serve, Care in all that we do.
Keep Howling!
