WSMA Solo & Ensemble
On Friday, March 25, Chequamegon High School hosted the 2022 WSMA Solo & Ensemble. This was the first time in many years that our school hosted this great event. Chequamegon and five other schools performed in front of guests and judges. After each performance the judges provided feedback to the students. A lot of work went into planning the event and Mrs. Kirch and Mr. Corbett did a fantastic job!

Hydroponics Garden Provides Fresh Greens for Lunch
Students at the South Campus have had homegrown, freshly harvested lettuce, kale, and basil added to their lunches over the past month, courtesy of Class ACT’s garden team and Marshfield Clinic. The Clinic donated the system to Class ACT. Students Brian Brunkow and Elliot Eggleston studied installation, care and maintenance of healthy, organic plants, and harvest methods. They currently collect about a five-gallon bucket of produce weekly, which they deliver to Food Service staff who clean and prepare it for student lunches.
