Brought to you by the Shepard Elementary PTA
Letter from our Principal
One of the many wonderful things about Shepard is its reputation as a community school. I love the sense of ownership from everyone involved with Shepard. It makes us Patriot Strong.
We need your help with some community relations. Our north playground is a meeting place after school for many of our families. It is a time for students to play and enjoy free time with friends and family!
Unfortunately, this is causing a parking issue for our neighbors. We have had complaints about the volume of cars parked between 2:30-4:00 at the intersection of Wilson and Glencliff. The neighbor has shared that they are unable to receive their mail due to the cars blocking their mailbox and driveway. I have assured them that we will work to resolve the issue. So, please work with me to make sure the cars are not blocking any mailboxes. If you are staying at the park for an extended time past dismissal please think about moving your car into the parking lot. We want to support our neighbors, so thanks for your help in this matter.
On another note, we have many events in the next 8 weeks. Please make sure you are checking your child’s agenda, Shepard’s Facebook, the Marquee and reading this newsletter (The POST). We do not want you to miss any of the end of year events.
Thanks for your support!
