CHS Class of 2020 Graduation Info
June 5th Graduation UPDATE
CHS Class of 2020 Graduation
We believe that graduation is a symbolic rite of passage. The purpose of the ceremony is to stand, united as a class, to celebrate accomplishments and reflect on what lies ahead. Now more than ever, we need to look at and to our future leaders and say, “We need you. We have confidence in you to be brave. To act with integrity and purpose. You have demonstrated exceptional critical thinking skills; go forward with these tools and change our world." We believe strongly that this message of hope and action would be best delivered in person. Our seniors have shared that their top priority is to stand together in strength and solidarity. As of this afternoon, the County of Public Health forbids it. We are optimistic and hopeful that this situation will continue to evolve at the state and local level.
Trust that we are working tirelessly with our district administration, Governing Board, and City officials to do what is legally permissible and safe to provide our seniors with an appropriate send off.
We appreciate your patience and will provide an update on Monday afternoon. Your patience is allowing us the opportunity to organize the best possible send off.
