Let me introduce myself...
Dear CJH Families,
I hope this letter finds you and your loved ones in good health and high spirits. It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new principal of The Columbia Junior High. I am honored to have this opportunity to serve as the instructional leader for our remarkable students.
First and foremost, I want to assure you that my commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment is unwavering. I firmly believe that every child has unique talents and capabilities, and it is our collective responsibility to help them unlock their full potential. I am dedicated to maintaining a school culture where each student feels valued, supported, and encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
With several years of experience in education, I bring a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that arise during the junior high years. I am committed to creating a positive and engaging educational experience that prepares our students for the future, equipping them with essential knowledge, critical thinking skills, and a love for lifelong learning. I believe in a well-rounded education that combines academic excellence with the development of character, empathy, and global awareness.
Collaboration and open communication between school and home are vital to the success of our students. I encourage an active partnership between families, educators, and the wider community, as we work together to provide a rich educational experience for our students. I value your input, ideas, and insights and look forward to building strong relationships based on trust and mutual respect.
Throughout the academic year, my administrative team and I will strive to maintain a rigorous curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our student body. We will continue to enhance our teaching methods, incorporating innovative and research-based practices that inspire creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, we will promote extracurricular activities, clubs, and athletics that foster teamwork, leadership, and personal growth.
In closing, I am genuinely excited about the journey ahead and the opportunity to serve as your principal at The Columbia Junior High. Together, we will create an exceptional learning community that prepares our students for a bright future. I am committed to being accessible and available, so please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns.
Warmest regards,
Chris Lezcano
