Magnets
What is a magnet???
a piece of iron (or an ore, alloy, or other material) that has its component atoms so ordered that the material exhibits properties of magnetism, such as attracting other iron-containing objects or aligning itself in an external magnetic field.
Magnet forces
attraction or repulsion that arises between electrically charged particles because of their motion; the basic force responsible for the action of electric motors and the attraction of magnet for iron.
How magnets are used 1.
magnets get used for a lot of thing like picking up metal in a junk yard and some other places like scrap yards and stuff like that.
How magnets are used 2.
- They are used by the candy or cold drink vendors to separate the metallic cap from the lots.
How magnets are used 3.
- They are used in the Maglev trains. In the Maglev trains, the super conducting magnets are used on the tracks on which the train floats. These types of the trains are working on the repulsion force of the magnets.
