Dear Hawley Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to December! We chose this to be Kindness Month with a plethora of fun and meaningful activities focusing on giving. It is a very busy time.

Here's What's Happening at Hawley.......

• We are collecting toys for Boston Children's Hospital through 12/21. Please send in an unwrapped toy that a child in the hospital can choose while having procedures done. The donation box is in our lobby. Click here for more information.
  

• Volunteers are needed to assist the students in the classroom and therefore, I want to remind you that we ask that younger siblings are not present. Toddlers and babies can divide attention or create a distraction to the learning. Their presence at classroom celebrations is at the discretion of the teacher. This is on pg 34 in our School-Parent Handbook. Thank you for your understanding.
  

• Our lost and found is overflowing with nice clothing. Please check to see if your child is missing coats, sweaters, jackets, sweatshirts and hats. Send kids to get them this week or feel free to come in after school to take a peek. We need to clean house ;0)
